The AI that
remembers who
you said you
wanted to be.
Kio is a personal agent for the growth-oriented — the parent, the partner, the builder running on fumes — who wants to stay true to what actually matters. Not another productivity tool.
Private beta. Built with intention.
Evening Check-in
You said you’d call your dad today.
Nudge me at 7pm
Designed for depth, not dopamine.
We don’t give you more to do. We give you more space to think — and a quiet hand on your shoulder when it counts.
Inbox without the weight
Kio reads your email, drafts replies in your voice, and surfaces only what actually matters. The rest stays quiet.
A calendar that protects you
Not just scheduling. Kio watches your week and makes sure the things you said mattered most still get oxygen.
Scheduled by Kio
“Moved your design review to 2pm so your morning with Haven stays yours.”
The nudge you forgot to ask for
“You said you’d call your dad.” Kio remembers the commitments you made in conversation, and gently checks back in — not a firehose, just the things that count.
Designed like you matter.
Warm paper textures, soft wood tones, sage greens. No dark patterns. No dopamine loops. Built for people who refuse to be distracted anymore.
Digital Ma:
the space between.
In Japanese design, Ma is the pure space that gives meaning to what surrounds it. Kio is built to create space in your digital life — not to fill it with noise.
Quiet intelligence
Works in the background. Only interrupts when something actually matters.
Tactile UI
Warm paper, soft wood, sage green. The opposite of dopamine-loop design.
Pure intent
Every interaction is designed to get you back to your life — not keep you in the app.
Built in public.
By someone who needs this too.
I’m Jonathan — Taiwanese-American, husband, dad, caregiver. For the last few years I’ve been running on fumes, juggling work, family, health, and a thousand dropped balls.
Every AI app I tried was built for someone working faster. I needed something that would help me show up — for my wife, for my son, for the version of myself I said I wanted to become.
So I’m building it. In public. You can watch me figure it out.

Day 14 · building kio
Evening check-in just caught me skipping a promise I made yesterday. Ouch. Also: exactly the feature I needed.
Coding at dawn: the morning briefing that made me cry.
